We had these old, hand forged upholstery nails
that we had pulled out of a Victorian sofa laying
around the studio. They were real nasty and gnarly,
and just screaming for us to use them in something.
The result seemed seemed appropriate for Kali
the Hindu goddess associated with death and destruction
(which is really a metaphor for time and change).
